I.    

Society Statement: The purpose of The United Army of Entropia is to provide a safe haven for all people of Entropia while maintaining order and justice within its own society.  U.A.E. is dedicated to make sure all its member are prosperous and are well rounded in their lives.  U.A.E will not condone any actions or illegal activities that will promote negative behavior either on Calypso  or in real life (the forums).  We will strive for continual change to actively  grow in our society

Government Core Objectives: U.A.E will strive to make and keep all citizens of our society and the world of Entropia as a whole feel that Calypso is a safe place to be.  U.A.E will strive to provide free trade and low interest commerce enterprises for all citizens of Entropia.  U.A.E members will enforce all rules and regulations put in place by Mind Ark and will act in accordance to the A.E.U.C.M.J(Army of Entropia Uniform Code of Military Justice) until it goes beyond the players or the leaders of U.A.E's control.

U.A.E Offical Uniform Policy: Members of U.A.E. will be required to wear uniforms at all offical U.A.E meetings and gatherings. Uniforms consist of any articles of clothing containing black, and blue. Members will not be required to wear uniforms in public but will be required to wear a different uniform for raids (TBA), but it certainly is encouraged.

Leaving U.A.E.: In the unfortunate event that you choose to leave U.A.E., please notify your unit leader that you are planning to leave the Society. Any  property that you might possess that belongs to U.A.E, you will required to return, including loans. There will be no consequence to your leaving of U.A.E., however, failure to return U.A.E property WILL be considered theft (see Punishment.)

Unit-Specific Policies: Each unit has its own unique benefit and conduct policy. Remember that as we grow, the contents of this and other sections may be subject to change. Also note that until a solution is found, members will be expected to maintain the equipment they use.

Military Branch: Our military will grow without a doubt, so outlined here is our initial plans for the military. The task of the military will be to defend U.A.E. installations, and to provide total protection to the people of Entropia.  As raiding nearby robot encampments will become a necessity in an outpost or frontier town, looting will also be managed. Raiding is outlined in the MSA  Section above. Traditionally, looters will be those who a unit leader will designate for that particular raid. After the raid all the loot is accounted for and will be distributed according to the funding section above. Depending on the number of items obtained determined the maximum that a person gets, goes to the Military and Sales Divisons. The Rest will go to the members of the Society. U.A.E. will be providing weapons for members of military, higher skilled players will receive better weapons and have better  weapons access. Weapons access itself will be controlled by the Military, as will be battle orders.

Sales Division: The Sales Division's task will be, to sell all extra surplus obtained from raids and various trades. U.A.E. will be providing  the products necessary for all sales as well as a specific  location for  which items will be sold. We ask nothing more of the shopkeepers than to sell our surplus, the profit of which will go directly to the Society Account for any and all things needed for the society like those described in the Funding and the Loans and Debts Sections.  Anything else that the shopkeepers wish to sell (that is of their own possession) they are free to do so, at no cost to the shopkeeper. Simply put, sell our stuff too and we'll give you a shop and protection. there is no ranking for this position just on a volunteer basis. The task of the Sales Division  is to make sure that all materials are dispersed  properly to all shopkeepers and to verify that no Society  property is being sold for any other gain than for the Society.

PK  Policy: No Member shall attack another  U.A.E. member for any reason at any time, doing so will result in an immediate investigation for the crime and could possibly be released from the Society. If you are caught in the act of killing innocent players the U.A.E will not guarantee you asylum. Or if you see some one in U.A.E killing inocent players and you do not report them you can be the subject of the same punishment its just like committing the crime. Designated members, however, will be granted asylum within U.A.E. installations.

Punishment:

Minor infractions to society policy, such as purposely killing a fellow member, will be subject to a company grade Article 15(see punishments) or will simply result in a temporary loss of privileges, and possible demotion. These will be decided by your unit leader. Secondary violations of the same infraction will result in a Field Grade Article 15(see punishments)

 Major infractions, such as theft, will result in immediate dismissal from the society and the stolen items returned to their owners they in addition to any measures taken by MindArk. Should the member resist the seizure of stolen goods, they will be permanently added to the U.A.E. hit list, whereupon a bounty will be placed on the head of the offending player. Any major infractions on clan policy will be made publicly known, however any major infractions besides theft will undergo a serious investigation and could possibly lead to a Field Grade Article 15(see punishments)

Company  Grade Article 15: this is punishment consists of a 100 PED fine and loss of Society privileges for 2 days time. It also consists of an apology to the innocent player or fellow member that you assaulted or violated. For violating policy you will be fined an additional 100 PED and will be put on a months probation.

Field Grade Article 15: this is punishment consists of a 200 PED fine and loss of Society privileges for 7 days time. It also consists of an apology to the innocent player or fellow member that you assaulted or violated or stole from. For violating policy you will be fined an additional 50 PED and will be put on a  6 months probation. and could be released from the Society if the infraction is severe enough.

MSA: U.A.E. will obviously need some  funding to expand and operate. And by giving alittle from what you earn will help us keep the society alive. Therefore every member will be required to give a portion  of their production to U.A.E. For example, members will required  to take a small amount of loot from a successful raid (see Unit-Specific Policies for more details,) give it  to the Sales Division and be able to keep the rest. In addition to this, there will also be the U.A.E. Fund, to which members will be expected, but NOT required, to donate to any amount is a good amount or items. We ask members simply to donate whatever surplus they may have and, in return, they may be promoted

Loans program: As members gain in rank and standing, U.A.E. will grant some of its members the right to borrow an allotted amount of money. U.A.E. will not charge interest on the first loan, however after the first loan there will be a 2% Interest on the loan, however only one loan may be taken out at a time. Loans will be expected to be repaid, and might affect standing in terms of future promotions if they are left unpaid, and could be subject to a Company  Grade Article 15(see punishments).  Before leaving U.A.E., members will be required to repay their loans and any fines they might have incurred. Failure to do so WILL be considered theft (See Punishment.)

Weapons and Equipment loans program: As members gain in rank and standing, U.A.E. will grant some of its members the right to borrow an allotted amount of money specifically designated for the buying of weapons and equipment need for a job or raid. U.A.E. will not charge interest on the  loan, however if you are found in voliation of the guidelines for this program you will have to pay the first loan and there will be a 2% Interest added onto the loan, however only one loan may be taken out at a time. Loans will be expected to be repaid, and might affect standing in terms of future promotions if they are left unpaid, and could be subject to a Company  Grade Article 15(see punishments).  Before leaving U.A.E., members will be required to repay their loans and any fines they might have incurred.
